MARVEL Avengers Age of Ultron Movie Review {Spoilers} #AVENGERSEVENT

Let's just get to the crux of the matter, okay? Marvel's Avengers Age of Ultron was freaking awesome.

IT WAS SO AWESOME, GUYS!! Yeah, I used all caps. I am screaming about how awesome it was!

I was treated to the very first full screening of Avengers Age of Ultron in LA at Walt Disney Studios and guess who was also there? HULK! I mean...Mark Ruffalo. I didn't actually see him, mind you - but I'm still counting it as watching a movie together. It counts!!

Before I tell you WHY I thought it was so awesome, here is the official boilerplate.

5 REASONS WHY MARVEL'S AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON IS FREAKING AWESOME

It's So Damn Funny Guys, for real. It's hilarious in a way that actually surprised me. Every Marvel movie has a bit of humor here and there, but Avengers Age of Ultron actually has real jokes, like when Captain America reminds Iron Man, "Language!" when he swears at the very beginning of the movie, and that joke just keeps on going throughout the entire movie - usually at Captain America's expense.

I think this may have been the funniest Marvel movie yet - but it was NOT a comedy, if you know what I mean. I love how they lightened the mood of the movie with this current of comedy because there were times when it got really dark.

There's a Bit of Romance Did you ever imagine a love scene between Black Widow and HULK? Neither did I! But the movie certainly alluded to that possibility...it was sweet and tender watching these two do the timid dance of falling in love. And Hawkeye? WHOA! That sure came as a surprise!

Hawkeye has a FAMILY!!?? Who would have thunk it? When the Avengers need to get away, Hawkeye knows just where to go...HOME! We find out that Hawkeye has a wife and kids at home, on a farm no less...I don't know about you, but I have always wondered what the Avenger's personal lives were like when they weren't "avenging."

It was mind blowing to see this side of Hawkeye - and totally endearing too! I always felt like I knew absolutely nothing about him. Now he's more of a real person to me!

It's NON-STOP Action If you hate action movies, then stay your butt at home. Avengers Age of Ultron starts out strong and these folks hardly get a break for the entire movie. Each time they do slow down, something drastic happens (like Ultron crashing their party) and then it's balls to the wall blasting and blowing stuff up.

It's a Classic Marvel Movie I ran into my cousin at the grocery store and he said the movie was so great because it followed the classic Marvel formula. I'd never really thought of it that way before, but it's true! Every Marvel movie follows a certain path: set the premise, action, action, action, then the Avengers save the world. It's a good formula. No, it's a GREAT formula, and one of the reasons we all love Marvel so much and why Avengers Age of Ultron is going to blow every other movie that hits theaters this year right out of the water.

IT IS FREAKING AWESOME.
