Please note: 1/4 cup sprinkles means it’s VERY full of sprinkles! Looks great, but less doughy than normal cookie dough. So If you don’t like it that way, I’d use 2 tablespoons of sprinkles.
Ingredients you will need to make this Patriotic Edible Cookie Dough Recipe
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon red, white and blue sprinkles

Directions for making this Patriotic Edible Cookie Dough Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 and spread flour onto a baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes to kill any bacteria. Let cool completely.
Add butter, sugar and vanilla to a mixing bowl and beat well. Scrape down sides of bowl halfway through beat until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add milk, flour and salt and beat until combined.
Fold in 1/4 cup sprinkles.
Serve immediately topped with remaining sprinkles or refrigerate covered until ready to serve. Remove from the refrigerator and let stand for 20-30 minutes to soften before serving.
