Our recipe for Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta is a family favorite easy seafood dinner recipe for busy nights! This easy seafood dinner cooks up in just about 10 minutes and you can make it with any type of pasta, but my favorite is Pappardelle. It's a thick egg noddle similar to fettuccine.

Why we love this Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta

What if I told you that you could make a delicious Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta seafood dinner in just 20 minutes, with just two ingredients and no chopping, dicing or prep required?

Yes, it IS possible, so long as you have a little pasta in the kitchen cabinet and Bumble Bee SuperFresh® Lemon Shrimp With Garlic & Herbs in the freezer!

I just came across this old post and laughed because I am allergic to shellfish - but my ex husband loved shrimp and I made this recipe for him almost a decade ago - yep, my blog is that old!!

Back when I originally wrote this post in 2015, this product was available in the grocery stores. I am not sure if it's still in production, so I am going to give you instructions for how to make this recipe from scratch. I did find it listed on Instacart, but when I went to see if it was available near me, it was not.

How to Make Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Please note...so I am allergic to shellfish, right? That means that I don't normally cook shellfish or even touch it - except for when I am fishing with shrimp, and then I immediately wash my hands.

If you make this recipe, you can take the tails off before serving! HA HA

Ingredients you will need to make this easy Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta

    • 1 pouch of Bumble Bee SuperFresh® Lemon Shrimp With Garlic & Herbs
    • packaged pasta
    • optional, parmesan cheese for garnishing

If you are looking for this product in stores, this is what the package looked like when I purchased it in 2015.

    6

If you don't find the Bumble Bee product in your stores, this is what you will need:

    • 1.5 to 2 pounds jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail left ON
    • 4 tablespoons butter
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon oregano

Directions for how to make Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta

If you're using frozen shrimp, make sure that they're completely defrosted before you begin cooking.

Cook your pasta according to the package directions.

In a saucepan, empty the contents of the pouch and cook it over medium heat until it's heated through.

If you are making this recipe from scratch, add your shrimp to the pan and cook for 1 minutes per side.

    Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Then add the butter and herbs to the pan and cook over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, just long enough to finish cooking the shrimp and to let the herbs seep into them.

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp, as they will get rubbery if you cook them for too long.

    Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta

This seafood dinner recipe is really the epitome of easiness: cook the shrimp, and while you're cooking it, cook up some pasta according to package directions.

I drizzled a little olive oil over the pasta and sprinkled with a little Parmesan cheese.

What kind of pasta should I serve this Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta with?

While I used Pappardelle in this easy Seafood dinner recipe, you can also use angel hair pasta, fettuccini or even spaghetti!

What should I serve with this easy seafood dinner?

We recommend serving a nice garlicy bread like this Garlic Focaccia!

I love shrimp and pasta, but rarely make it because of the time consuming process of shelling the shrimp. This looks like it would remove that process completely allowing me to enjoy my meal.
