Why we love this Jalapeno Ranch Dip Dressing Recipe
According to WebMD, Jalapeños are rich in vitamins A and C and potassium. They also have carotene -- an antioxidant that may help fight damage to your cells – as well as folate, vitamin K, and B vitamins. Many of their health benefits come from a compound called capsaicin.
That's what makes the peppers spicy. There was also an article in Science Daily in 2014 that says Chili peppers hold promise of preventing liver damage and progression.
Summary: New research shows that the daily consumption of capsaicin, the active compound of chili peppers, was found to have beneficial effects on liver damage! As someone who actually suffers from liver damage, I love finding foods that can help me repair my liver naturally - so this recipe is extra helpful for me!
