    Dawn of Mankind

In the dawn of humanity, there were no stores where men could go to purchase their food and had to provide for themselves to survive. They turned to what they were familiar with, always finding ways to hunt big game to feed themselves and their families.

The indigenous tribes of North America wild buffalo, deer and other wild big game for hundreds of years and they had a very religious view of animals. They regarded the entire eco-system as sacred and always tried to balance their hunting and fishing to preserve the balance in nature.

The Indigenous tribes of North America had a very keen sense of living off the land. With hundreds of different tribes in America, they were heavily dependent upon big game.

All of this was changed when men from Europe landed in America with Columbus and other explorers from Spain, Italy, and Iceland. More people had a greater need to survive and man also competed for the furs.

Trapping brought then a sense of stability. Even Daniel Boone, legendary outdoorsman, was known to hunt and fish to stay alive. Soon, the modern era and industrial revolution turned hunting and fishing into something for sports hunters to do.

Theodore Roosevelt was a big game hunter who enjoyed hunting lions, leopards, rhinos and more. Today there are more rules and regulations set up for big game hunters and fees are more expensive, but the desire to hunt wild animals may always remain a sport.

    Lifestyles for Everyone

Since the dawn of man, there has been a war brewing between man and beast. This war is between the four-legged creatures who invade property or roam the countryside and grace nature with their powerful features. I imagined cave dwellers used rocks, stones, and spears to bring them down.

Then it was a matter of survival. Today humanity is in a different age, and the birth of game hunting and fishing has turned into a multi-million dollar industry. If you are going to hunt an African lion or a rhino, you'd better have a useful guide.

Or like Jeremy Wade in River Monsters, "Know what you are fishing for before it catches you." To make the point more direct, hunting and fishing guide jobs are always available for those who have the experience and credibility to be a useful guide for sportsmen and fishermen. Whether it's leading a group of hunters on a successful elk hunt or guiding anglers to the perfect fishing spot, the job requires a deep understanding of the terrain, wildlife behavior, and safety practices. But before embarking on this path, having the right gear is crucial. Quality hunting gear can make all the difference in ensuring a safe and successful outing, for hunting gear visit the link.

    Honored Fishing Guides

Hunters and gatherers were seeking one thing to survive, but today's leisure sportsman is trying a challenge just for recreation. Sure, in the end, they will take their trophy and stuff it to hang on the wall. In the end, they want a prized guide that knows how to locate their trophy fish and show them what bait to use to catch it. It's one thing to go out and pay to watch whales swim by, but sports fishers are about catching fish.

It was reported that the Nobel Prize Winner (1954), Ernest Hemingway, was a great sports fisherman and often traveled in his boat to catch the marlin in and around Cuba. That recreational sport is just as active today as then, and sports fisherman are fond of their time out at sea finding their big catch.

    The Best Big Game Guides

There are guides to hunt almost anything conceivable to kill today. Big game hunting is a million-dollar business. California, in 2016, generated more than $216 million in revenues in big game hunting. A similar amount ($215 million) was created in Wyoming in 2015.

For example, many still love to go moose hunting, and they want their guide, camp, and hunting lodge. These are wealthy hunters who can afford to take off a week or two to hunt big game. South Africa has grown very wealthy off of big game hunters, sometimes charging as much as $100K for a significant big game hunt like a lion or rhinoceros.

Though many like to hunt and do so legally, there are wildlife reserves where the animals are protected. The reason for the reserves is because more than 200 species have been hunted to extinction around the world. The important point is conservation and managing hunting. The money that is made from hunting licenses, and so forth, help the wildlife in many ways.
