This Healthy Halloween Snack for Kids recipe is so much fun to make and tastes so good! Halloween is such a fun time of year and I just love any way of being able to enjoy the spirit of the season!

It is such a cute little Halloween monster cookie, but you don't have to feel any guilt when giving them to the kids because they don't have much sugar at all!

What Is A Halloween Monster Cookie?

Don't confuse this with regular monster cookies. Those are made with oatmeal, peanut butter, and a bunch of other ingredients and don't look at all like monsters. These Halloween monster cookies are decorated to look like funny (and not at all scary) monsters. They look sweet and funny and are actually really nutritious!

A Healthy Halloween Snack for Kids

Is not this Halloween monster cookie just so cute!? It is actually pretty low in sugar so you can make these Healthy Halloween Snacks with the kids, and you really don't have to worry about them getting all sugared up!

We have always loved celebrating the Halloween holiday because IT IS JUST SO MUCH FUN! Kids using their imagination? Kids hanging out together and getting candy? Dressing up, decorating the house - can you really remember a part of your childhood WITHOUT HALLOWEEN?!

I grew up in a household that went from celebrating Halloween to a one that thought it was "evil" and let me tell you...once I had my own house and my own kids, ALL OF THAT NO LONGER APPLIED!

If you enjoy this holiday, too, then check out these easy Witch Hat cookies. They are just as fun as monster cookies.

    Storage

Store your monster sandwich cookies in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator for up to three days.

After three days, the filling will start to get a little harder and they aren't as soft. They taste best when they are freshly made.
