Tracking PixelEvery day is National Dog Day for me. I love my dogs. They’re like my fuzzy, four-legged children. Well, they’re not just like my child. My child is far less spoiled than my dogs! Even though it’s not the best thing, I spoil my dogs big time. That’s why every day is National Dog Day for me. That’s why I was excited to receive a vet visit and one free heartworm test and ProHeart6® injection from Banfield Pet Hospital® in exchange for my honest opinion of their services.

National Dog Day 7 Days a Week

My dogs are spoiled. I take that back. They’re spoiled rotten. I had a vision in my head of dogs that were well behaved and stayed off the furniture. Notice the word “had”. It took about 3 seconds for me to fall in love with my pups, and it took about 3 minutes for me to realize that I’d much rather have them on the couch with me than laying on the floor.

That’s an example of my life. A life a National Dog Day 24/7/356. I give theme everything I can to keep them happy and healthy. They have their treats, their chewies, and they have their regular visits to the vet!

National Dog Day with Banfield

Because every day is National Dog Day for me, I was excited to have a visit with the veterinarians and staff at Banfield Pet Hospital®. They’re an animal hospital totally devoted to the health and well-being of their patients. That means that every day is National Dog Day for them, as well. I loved their super easy appointment scheduling, it can all be done online AND you can even print out the new patient forms online to save time when checking in. Easy, friendly and knowledgeable: that’s what I look for in an animal hospital! Bailey and Toby’s names were even written on their patient list as a welcome when we walked in!

My visit included an exam, heartworm test, and an injection of ProHeart6®, an injectable heartworm preventative that lasts for 6 months. It’s important that we keep our dogs protected against heartworm. It’s a vicious parasite infestation that can kill our dogs. Heart worms can be a killer. I am totally serious: dogs DIE from heartworms! All it takes is one bite form an infected mosquito to give your dog heart worms – fortunately, heartworm is easily preventable.

All it takes is a yearly heartworm test and year round heartworm preventative to keep our dogs safe. When I found out that ProHeart 6® was an injectable and I didn’t have to worry about giving the dogs pills every month, well that was a big relief. I travel quite a bit and between my hectic schedule and being an airhead in general, it’s nice to know that the dogs just need one injection and I am DONE for six whole months! No forgetting, no giving them pills late…it makes my life easier!

Banfield Pet Hospital® uses ProHeart6® to protect dogs from heartworm disease. It’s an injectable heart worm preventative that lasts for six months, making it the easiest way to protect our dogs from this potential fatal parasite infestation. Banfield Pet Hospital® makes it affordable with their Optimum Wellness Plan® packages. These plans are designed to support overall health without devouring our wallets. They feature overall wellness plans with heartworm preventatives, including ProHeart6®, as add-ons to those plans.

A Special Offer from Banfield Pet Hospital®

Every day is National Dog Day for me, and I’m sure it probably is for you, too. That’s why I’m excited to bring you this special offer from Banfield Pet Hospital®. Right now, they’re offering one free exam and consultation by filling out the form here. The offer is valid for new clients only, ends on January 15, 2016 and additional restrictions may apply. Fill out the form and get your free visit!

I recently took Bailey and Toby to Banfield Pet Hospital® and was pleased with the service they provided – as well as their prices! Their prices for routine wellness care was actually less expensive than our neighborhood vet, and I’m pretty sure that you will find their pricing very competitive in your area as well. They even have three different annual wellness plans that allow you to save even more money on routine veterinary care. With our menagerie of pets, I find any way to save money on taking care of my fur babies appealing!

National Dog Day is on the daily for me. That’s why I love Banfield Pet Hospital®. Give them a try. I think you’ll love them, too!

We have a wonderful pet hospital in our town also that even runs special clinics at a discount once a month. So affordable, no one can say they can’t afford it!

I had not heard of the injectable heart worm preventative that lasts for six months. That would be less for me to worry about! Thanks for sharing that.

So important to take care of our pets – sounds like Banfield is a great pet hospital that cares! Look at how it’s decorated too for holidays! 🙂
