    Easy Skillet BBQ Chicken Recipe

    Have you ever walked into the kitchen at dinner time and thought to yourself, "I am really in the mood for BBQ?"

    There are many times that I find myself craving a certain type of meal, only to be completely unprepared for actually making it...take BBQ for example! I love BBQ; BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, BBQ pork -  could go on and on about the many delicious types of BBQ, as it's one of my favorite types of cuisine!

    I've found a really easy way to prepare a BBQ chicken dinner whenever the mood strikes me: McCormick Skillet Sauces! Yep, that's right, keep a few McCormick Skillet Sauces in the pantry and you can serve up this delicious Easy Skillet BBQ Chicken whenever you want without firing up the grill!

    Easy Skillet BBQ Chicken Recipe

    McCormick has been around for almost 125 years and they’re always coming up with something new! The newly launched line of McCormick Skillet Sauces were introduced to help us make homemade meals without a lot of fuss. They come in 7 different varieties, are made with natural herbs and spices, and cost about $1.99 in your supermarkets or mass market retailers.

    Simply pour your favorite sauce into a pan with your choice of meat and vegetables, cook for 15 minutes and you have a delicious homemade meal!

    For this easy skillet BBQ chicken dinner, all you need are boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, an onion cut in wedges and one McCormick BBQ Chicken sauce packet. I was not really in the mood to cook the evening I made this dish, so it was so nice to be able to throw together a delicious dinner without a lot of effort.

    I bought a packet of microwave cheesy rice and a steam-in-the-bag microwavable broccoli and dinner was good to go!

    Easy Skillet BBQ Chicken Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1 packet McCormick Skillet Sauce in BBQ Chicken
    • Boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
    • 1 yellow onion cut into wedges

    Instructions

    1. Follow directions on the packet:
    2. In a pan on medium-high heat, add chicken, onion and pour McCormick Skillet Sauce over the top. Let cook for 20 minutes.

    Each McCormick Skillet Sauce has the directions for preparing that specific dinner right on the back of the packet. Take a quick glance at the packet while you're out grocery shopping and pick up the accompanying ingredients (they're usually incredible simple) and dinner practically plans itself!

      this chicken looks really good. I have not tried these sauces yet. I keep forgetting to look for them when I head to the store. I like the variety they have to choose from .
