I decided to make an extra special meal for Chris and Angeline tonight since I am flying out to San Jose tomorrow for a brand meeting.
I love doing something a little extra special for my family before I go on a trip without them! This easy Chicken Parmesan recipe using the Kraft Fresh Take Italian Parmesan kit made it super easy to make a delicious meal for my family so that I could concentrate of them and not spend an hour slaving over a hot stove!
I even got Angeline involved in the grocery shopping - by promising to buy her the ice cream of her choice while we were at Walmart! ha ha!
Whatever works, right? We found the Kraft Fresh Take kits in the cheese aisle, then headed to the ice cream aisle to pick out our treats. You can read all about our shopping trip in this Google+ story!
It's a good thing I brought Angeline along because I had a hard time deciding which Kraft Fresh Take kit to buy!
We ended up going with the Italian Parmesan so that we could make an easy chicken parmesan recipe - her favorite Italian dish!

Easy Chicken Parmesan Recipe
Ingredients
1 Kraft Fresh Take Italian Parmesan kit
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 package of fettuccine
1 jar of marinara sauce
Garlic bread
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
I personally buy Tyson Grilled and Ready chicken breasts because there is no cooking time - you just open the Kraft Fresh Take kit, mix the cheese and seasonings by shaking the pouch a bit, then add each chicken breast, seal and shake to coat it evenly.
Repeat with each chicken breast until they are all coated with the Kraft Fresh Take mixture.
Lay them on a baking pan lined with tinfoil (for easy clean up) and cook for 20 minutes.
While your chicken breasts are baking, bring a pot of water to a rolling boil and add your fettuccine, and cook until al dente, or about 12 minutes.
Once the pasta is done, drain the water and return to the stove on low heat and add your marinara sauce to the pasta, stirring to ensure that the sauce heats through.
I like to serve dishes like this on a nice platter...it makes me feel like a cooked a fancy dinner! ha!
Keep an eye out for the Kraft Fresh Possibilities Tour truck, it will be making stops across the United States from March through the end of July!
