Yesterday, my husband surprised me by taking me to the Emperor Valley Zoo in Trinidad.
Admission to the Zoo, which is located downtown, was about $3.50 US...so I take back what I said before about things not being cheaper in Trinidad than they are in Miami, Florida!
I had a great time, and will expand upon that once I am home and on a more reliable internet connection. However, in the meantime, I just have to share this video with you! I made it with my iPhone 4, so I apologize for the shakiness!
This is a Trinidad Capuchin Monkey - they are native to Trinidad and totally cute.
This is the first time I have ever had a monkey interact with me, so I started freaking out and video taping it!
