Duck Tape Decorated Mason Jars for Gifting is my Favorite of these 4 Duck Tape Holiday Crafts to Celebrate the Season

Decorated mason jars adorned with Duck Tape are a neat and simple way to offer up your family’s favorite candies and treats.

I love making things and giving them as gifts during the holiday season, and mason jars are the perfect way to do that! You can save your old jars from pasta sauce, pickles and the like and reuse them for gifting things like baked goods and bath salts and body scrubs.

Some simple folds and wrapping of colored tape can quickly transform the jars into cute snowmen or elves. Opt for some decorative Mini Rolls to design patterns, stripes or even polka dots and your home décor is ready for display.

Do you need some ideas for things to fill your mason jars with? I have a few salt scrubs or bath soak recipes on the site, and this Lavender Salt Soak Recipe is my ultimate favorite! It is perfect for everyone from kids, to teens to adults!

This Lavender Salt Soak Recipe is quite easy to make and looks so pretty in a mason jar!

Make a DIY Lavender Bath Soak

    What you need:

    • 2 tablespoons dried lavender
    • 1 cup Epsom salt
    • optional: 1-2 drops of quality lavender essential oil to help enhance the scent.

Also optional, but very helpful, is a muslin bag to put everything in.

This will allow the water to dissolve the salt, but keep all of the lavender neatly contained so there will be nothing left after the bath that needs to be cleaned way or removed from the drain.

These particular bags on Amazon  can also be cleaned, dried and reused a few times.

Combine the sat and dried lavender (along with optional essential oil) together in a dish or muslin bag.  If using a bag, secure the top tightly so nothing is able to come out.

Allowing the mix to rest for a couple of days will help further infuse the salt with the restful and relaxing scent of lavender.
