Chocolate Gingerbread Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 package 4oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking pan. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Mix well. Set aside.
  • In a large, microwave safe bowl, add butter and chocolate and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir completely until chocolate is melted.
  • Stir in 2 cups sugar and mix well.
  • Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  • Stir in flour mixture just until combined.
  • Pour into prepared pan and smooth batter with the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until center is set.
  • Cool completely before cutting into 24 squares.
