Marinated Mozzarella Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mozzarella
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons basil minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley minced
  • 1 tablespoon thyme minced
  • ½ tablespoon red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except for the mozzarella and mix to combine. If your mozzarella is in a block form, cut it into smaller chunks, about an inch big. add to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
  • Refrigerate at least two days to infuse flavors, stirring at least twice daily.

Notes

Serve cold with assorted deli meats and cheeses with crusty bread.
