- 1 loaf 16 oz, french bread, cut into ½" slices (about 4 cups)
- 16 ore cookies coarsely crushed
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 2 cups milk
- vanilla ice cream for serving
- chocolate syrup for serving
Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Place bread into the pan and sprinkle crushed oreos on top. Gently toss to mix cookies into the bread.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs and sugar and mix well.
Add butter, milk and vanilla and whisk until combined. Gently pour on top of bread and mix well to evenly distribute the liquid.
Bake for 30 minutes or until center is set when a knife is inserted in the center.
Let stand to cool until warm and serve topped with chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream.
