Pizza Roll Casserole Recipe


  • 1 tube 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup pizza sauce divided
  • 1/2 cup cooked ground sausage pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • chopped fresh basil optional


  1. Preheat oven to 400 and grease a small casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and flatten to the size of a baking sheet (10x15).
  3. Spread pizza sauce onto the dough keeping it 1/2" from the edge.
  4. Top with cheese, pepperoni and sausage.
  5. Roll the dough from the long side. Pinch the seams together as best as you can.
  6. Cut the dough into 8 pieces
  7. Add small score marks with a knife to aid in cutting an equal number of pieces.
  8. Place rolls into prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve with pizza sauce for dipping
