Chocolate Gingerbread Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 package 4oz unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking pan. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Mix well. Set aside.
  3. In a large, microwave safe bowl, add butter and chocolate and microwave for 2 minutes. Stir completely until chocolate is melted.
  4. Stir in 2 cups sugar and mix well.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  6. Stir in flour mixture just until combined.
  7. Pour into prepared pan and smooth batter with the back of a spoon.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until center is set.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into 24 squares.
