How to Make This Valentine's Day Breakfast Red Velvet Waffles Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 box, 15.25 oz, red velvet cake mix
- 2 cups milk
- 4 eggs
- oil
- vanilla yogurt or whipped topping
- valentine sprinkles

Directions
In a large mixing bowl, add cake mix, milk and eggs and mix well.
Preheat waffle iron according to appliance directions. Use a pastry brush to coat iron with oil so the waffles don't stick.
For a my Belgium waffle maker, I used ¾ cup of batter to make one waffle. Pour batter into iron and cook according to appliance directions (mine takes about 2 minutes per waffle).
Remove from iron and serve topped with yogurt and sprinkles. Repeat until all batter is used.
