Tips & Tricks: How to Get Ready In 10 Minutes

You have spent the whole evening binge-watching your favorite show or drinking wine with your friends, telling yourself that you will be able to get up on time in the morning. Naturally, the alarm goes off and you cannot even open your eyes, let alone get out of bed. The snooze button becomes your best friend, and when you finally do manage to open your eyes, you realize that you have only ten minutes to leave your house. If this scenario sounds way too familiar, this article is for you. With these useful tricks, you will be able to get ready in ten minutes and head out the door looking completely put together.

    Use two-in-one makeup products

When you just have ten minutes to get ready, there is no time for the whole makeup routine. For these cases of emergency, it is convenient to have hybrid products in your makeup bag. A foundation that acts like a concealer, lipstick that is a bit glossy, or a blush that also highlights your cheekbones are useful products that can be real life-savers in this type of situation. Speaking of makeup, avoid eyeliner. Even if you are a pro at applying eyeliner, your hands might be a bit shaky from lack of sleep, and few strokes later you will end up looking like a panda.

Lay out your outfit before bed

When you are still sleepy and your brain has not fully woken up, it can be difficult to decide what to wear, and 15 minutes later you will still find yourself in front of your closet not being able to make a decision. This is a huge waste of time you don’t have to begin with, so make sure you lay out your outfit before you go to sleep. This way you can jump out of the shower, get dressed in under a minute, and save a ton of time.

Invest in a piece of jewelry that goes with everything

Jewelry can always help you look more polished and elegant, even when your outfit is rather simple. Therefore, get yourself a piece of jewelry that goes with everything in your closet, so you can put it on when you are in a jam and be positive you look great. White topaz is a gem that goes well with all colors, so check out topaz jewelry at https://moonmagic.com/collections/white-topaz-jewelry.

Wash your hair the night before

Pause your favorite TV show to quickly wash your hair (or do it after you get home from a night out) and tie it up with a silk scarf. In the morning you will wake up with clean and fabulous hair, and all you’ll need is a few tweaks with your flat iron and you will be good to go.

    Multitask while showering

There is no time to do everything separately, so wash your face and brush your teeth while you are in the shower. This way you will cut down on bathroom time and you’ll have more time to get dressed.

    Consider getting eyelash extensions

When you have lush lashes, you instantly look more glamorous, not to mention well-rested. With extensions, you will be able to look glam at all times, and you won’t need mascara at all.

    Set a playlist

This is a useful trick and at all times you will know how much time you have left before you need to head out the door. Create a 10-minute playlist with your favorite songs, and once the music ends, you will know that it is time to bounce.

With these tricks, you will be able to look like you have spent an hour getting ready, even if you just had ten minutes to leave your home.
