I participated in a campaign on behalf ofย Mom Central Consultingย for Starburst. I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
When Halloween rolls around every year, my family starts planning our annual Halloween Scary Movie Night. It's a really big deal! My parents, aunt, cousins and my sisters and their families all pile into one house, we dim the lights and gorge on spooky treats while watching two scary movies. We sometimes have Halloween Party Favorsย Craft and since I am hosting this year, I thought I'd look to Tori Spelling for an idea!
Tori made these adorable little Starburst Candy Corn Halloween Party Favors Craft and I knew that I'd be able to create my own version pretty easily.
ย These Starburst Candy Corn Halloween Party Favors Craft would be perfect for handing out during our family's annual Halloween Scary Movie Night next month, right? But of course I have to add my own little twist!
I grabbed some orange and black raffia that was in a package I'd recently received, some yellow tissue paper from a recent gift bag and my mom gave me these adorable little glass jars with lids for my food photography. Don't ya just love recycling? It makes crafts so inexpensive! You can buy Starburst Candy Corn pretty much anywhere Halloween candy is sold - I picked up a bag at Publix Supermarkets, my grocery store for $2.69.
How to Make Halloween Party Favors Craft
- Gather little jars, raffia or ribbon in Halloween colors, as well as tissue paper and Starburst Candy Corn. You might also want a hot glue gun if you want to make your raffia extra secure.
- Fill each jar ยพ of the way full - or completely full, depending on how many bags of Starburst Candy Corn you have on hand - and place the lid on the jar.
- Place tissue paper over the lid and secure with the raffia paper. Tie in a bow and you're done!
Seriously, how easy was that?
They also look super cute on my bookshelf and add a little extra Halloween decor!

Tori is quite the crafter! I remember watching a show years ago when she was still on 90210 (no kids or anything at that point) and she decoupaged like crazy back then. I remember she pointed out that she preferred giving hand made gifts to friends because it came from her, not a store. I thought it was pretty cool!

I love it, those are actually beautiful

You're welcome! I thought these were perfect for people who avoid the scary side of the holiday. They can also just be a fun fall craft! ๐

Wow, I had no idea that she had been crafting for that long!

Thank you so much! I was so nervous about applying for this campaign because I am not a very creative person. LOL But this little craft was really easy! I think I spent more time working on taking the perfect picture than I did actually "making" them!

I usually loathe candy corn, but I'd probably like this since it's by Starburst.

LOL! Yeah, Gizmo was all over them as soon as I set them down! She's a little inspector!
Jennifer Quillen says
I love candy corn - it's just pure sugar, my fave! LOL! - but these don't taste anything like candy corn. They have a fruity taste, and while they don't taste exactly like the regular Starburst, they are pretty close.
Jennifer Quillen says
She really does! I actually tried making a candy corn picture frame as my first craft, but ants started coming after it WHILE I was working on it! I ended up throwing it out and buying more candies to make the favors.

Easy and cute thing to do ๐ How much time did you spent preparing all your Halloween decors? I have spent about 4 and a half hours to bake some pumpkin and chocolate cookies and than I saw your post. Thanks God I saw it know when I am still choosing what candies should go for hand outs...
Anne - Mommy Has to Work says
