Have you just started your very own TikTok account and want to start posting as soon as possible but have no idea what you should be posting? Do you want to know what kind of content you should be posting to TikTok to gain more followers and reach more people?

TikTok is now one of the most popular social media platforms around without over a billion active monthly users, and many growth services to buy TikTok followers with, such as TokUpgrade among others, which has helped businesses reach more people faster. It is a place where you can share short videos of you singing along to your favourite song, dancing to the latest trend, doing something funny, and so much more, all for your followers and friends to see.

Because TikTok has such a larger audience, businesses and brands have also started taking their business there and have found a new way to marketing to a new audience. If you are wanting to make use of TikTok as a business or even just as an individual looking for success on the platform, here is how to choose the best content to post.

    What Content is Popular?

When it comes to posting to TikTok, something your need to consider is that some content is far more appreciated and popular than other kinds of content. TikTok is a light-hearted platform where people come to have fun and find entertainment. People posting on the app typically keep their content light and happy, or even funny to cater to the community and audience of TikTok.

Although you do get the odd person here or there voicing an opinion that might not necessarily fall into this category of fun and light-hearted, for the most part, this is not the case. Typically, the kind of content you will find, that is popular on the app, is things that are trending, like viral dances, a soundtrack that is very popular, challenges, singing videos, comedic videos, and animal videos. Other things include makeup videos, tutorials, and even information or educational videos that are presented in a light-hearted manner.

As a business, you want to make use of this kind of content to increase the number of followers you havebecause hard selling or advertising doesn’t bode well on the platform. People will just scroll past without a second thought.

    How to Use Trends

As mentioned previously, trends play a big role in the content that is produced on the platform and what people enjoy seeing on TikTok. Trends are fast-changing but some of the most popular and most-watched content on TikTok. When using trends such as viral dances, different sound clips or even challenges, you make your content far more desirable to the larger audience and more people will be likely to watch it.

As a business, extending your reach through trends also makes you come across as more approachable and gives you direct access to the community. You just need to make sure that the trends you are using are the most current ones.

    What is a Hashtag Challenge?

Next up we have hashtag challenges. These are exactly what they sound like; hashtags with a challenging objective. As a business, this is a great way to create brand awareness, especially if you have created your hashtag challenge. This could be anything from a full-on challenge like people cooking a full meal with your kitchen products, or something as simple as people posing with your logo or products and tagging the business.

This is also a great way to encourage user-generated content and take some of the heavy liftings off of your shoulders.

    How to Define Your Voice

Last but not least, you should define your voice. This may not seem like such an important aspect, but when people follow an account, they want consistency throughout otherwise they may unfollow you, or not even follow you in the first place. Consistency means that people will know what to expect from your account and will know that they will enjoy what you post.
