The premise is that you use leftover Halloween candy to make these cookie bars, but you can of course use any candy you like, and make this Leftover Halloween Candy Cookie Bars Recipe year-round!

These Cookie Bars with Halloween candy are easy to make and are a great way to use up that leftover candy!

Leftover Halloween Candy Cookie Bars Recipe

These Candy Filled Cookie Bars are nice and chewy, and of course, totally delicious! The outside is crunchy and the inside is chewy and dense. You can really use any kind of candy for these delicious little cookie bars, but I personally recommend Twix, kit kat, Reese's, snickers, M&Ms.

Basically any chocolate candy that you have leftover once the trick or treaters are done for the evening! You can of course run out and buy a bag of candy just to make these whenever you're in the mood.

Bake for 32-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

When finished baking, gently press remaining candies into the top.

The top is crusty but candies will gently break the crust and press into the cookie. Let cool completely before cutting into 24 bars.

You can bake up this easy Cookie Bars with Halloween candy Recipe and store it in your fridge or an air tight sealed container for up to 3 days before they get too stale - and hard!

What kind of candy Should You Use for this Cookie Bars with Halloween candy Recipe?

It does say you need 2 cups. In my case, since it's not Halloween, I used 5 each of the following candies: fun size M&Ms, fun size Twix, fun size Kit Kat and fun size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

I used 4 each in the batter and then cut the fifth one of each candy to press into the top, which is of course completely optional.
