    Amazing Alcoholic Coffee Drink Ideas

Coffee has already become an iconic drink, so it is not surprising that a rare movie can do without it. People start their morning routine with a cup of strong espresso, take a cappuccino to go on the way to work, and meet with friends over a cup of macchiato.

And when the sun goes down, and people move to the bars from cozy cafes, they remind each other that coffee has long been a perfect addition to almost any alcohol. A bit of coffee in a whiskey sounds like a great idea, especially if it is cold outside.

Such a combination will allow you to get rid of a runny nose and the image of a nondrinker. Coffee will help you become more organized and vigorous, and alcohol will turn you into an adventurous and cheerful person.

Basic rules for creating alcoholic coffee beverages

To create the right drink, you should take the right components. It is the key rule. Thus, you should choose the best coffee beans for cold brew and other required ingredients of the highest quality. You cannot get a delicious beverage, having chosen low-quality products.

    Don't use pre-brewed coffee

The perfect option is to use a coffee machine or at least a French press if you have none. Another great solution is to make coffee in a cezve. To get the best result possible, you should give preference to highly roasted coffee beans.

    Choose only the best combinations

If you want to get a tasty drink, you should opt for the best coffee and alcohol mixes. Thus, you can mix coffee with whiskey, rum, and various liqueurs (creamy, vanilla, orange, and milk). It is up to you to decide what result and taste you want to get.

One should better refuse options with high sugar content and ones based on wine. For instance, port and vermouth would be unsuitable. Eliminate bitter drinks since bitterness can take away the spiciness of coffee. It is about absinthe and sambuca.

    Add some tasty toppings

To get a more delicious taste, you can use whipped topping, cinnamon, pine nuts, and cloves as toppings. Some people are against ready-made whipped topping, but you can give a try some quality options.

    Awesome alcoholic coffee drinks

Before you proceed to study the recipes, it is worth reading a budget coffee makers review since the chances are high, you will hardly resist a temptation to make these amazing cocktails right on the nearest weekend.

Besides, if you like to hang out with friends, your cocktails can become a feature of the evening.

    Irish coffee

It's the first thing you might think about when it comes to alcoholic coffee beverages. It was created by John Sheridan, a bartender at Schenn Airport, which is placed just off the Atlantic coast of Ireland.

It is pretty easy to make it since you should place 2-3 pieces of sugar into a volume glass, pour in 100 ml of robust coffee, and about 40 ml of Irish whiskey. You can garnish it with 20 ml of whipped topping and enjoy your drink.

    Pharisee coffee

The cocktail is almost a twin brother of the prior one, but you should replace whiskey with rum. It was designed almost two centuries ago in Germany when they wanted to hide the fact of alcohol consumption.

Thus, they put whipped topping on top to cover up the presence of rum. So, you should place 2-3 pieces of sugar into a glass, pour in 100 ml of robust coffee, and about 40 ml of rum. You can garnish it with whipped topping.

    Mexican coffee

It is another variation in which the role of the key alcoholic component is given to tequila. The taste will be more interesting thanks to the delicious cocoa liqueur.

Pour in 30 ml of tequila, add 80 ml of strong hot coffee and 30 ml of cocoa liqueur and garnish everything with 30 ml of whipped topping.

    Brazilian coffee

When you stay open-minded and don't mind experiments, you get a unique opportunity to try cocktails from all over the world. To make this cocktail, you will have to find cachaca, apple vodka from Brazil.

Thus, mix 45 ml of cachaca, 15 ml of aroma and tasty chocolate liqueur, and 20 ml of sugar syrup. Then add 75 ml of robust coffee. You can garnish everything with 65 ml of whipped topping and a pinch of vanilla.

    Café Brulot

It is great that some drinks can boast of rich history. For example, this one was created at the end of the past century to whet your appetite. Some people call it "devil's coffee" for its spicy taste.

To make it, you should put 1 vanilla stick, 4 pieces of sugar, zest of 1 orange and 1 lemon, cloves into a jezve, and pour in about 50 ml of brandy. Place it on heat and stew for several minutes, then add about 100 ml of ready-made coffee.

Let it stew for another minute, then take it off and pour it into glasses through a strainer. You can also add about 25 ml of orange liqueur to make it taste even more interesting.
