There is evidence that ice cream, or a variation of this frozen treat was actually eaten as long ago as 200 B.C. Of course it wasn’t until 1851 that ice cream was mass produced and it wasn’t available in stores until the 1930’s. - Ghost Pepper Peppermint
Take some homemade peppermint ice cream and add a little of the world’s hottest chili. You will need to enjoy the spice flavor in order to really appreciate the taste of this unusual but surprisingly enticing flavor.

This is only for the brave it is probably one of the hottest ice creams you’ll ever taste. This is available from Mason’s Creamery in Cleveland, Ohio; and has become a firm favorite with the local and a wider audience.
It is worth noting that this is very hot. But, with a little sauce on top it is one ice cream flavor that isn’t just popular; it’s one you have to try!
