Published: Oct 5, 2018 · Modified: Oct 5, 2018 by Jennifer · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

There is evidence that ice cream, or a variation of this frozen treat was actually eaten as long ago as 200 B.C. Of course it wasn’t until 1851 that ice cream was mass produced and it wasn’t available in stores until the 1930’s. But, what’s really impressive is that they are still coming out with new flavors for people to go crazy about today!

There are two elements to the right ice cream:

    1. The perfect flavor.

You may have a favorite flavor for all occasions or a different one depending on the venue and the occasion. Knowing what your preferred flavor is will ensure you can enjoy an ice cream anywhere.

    1. The Venue

There is nothing like enjoying an ice cream on a hot sunny day in your garden. But this is not the only option. In fact everyone should experience the fun of ice cream after a hectic day with friends or colleagues. Whether you’re on a scavenger hunt or white water rafting the venue and the quality of the ice cream can make a huge difference.

Here are 5 new ice cream flavors which people are going crazy about and you need to try:

    1. Pink Lemonade Pop Rocks

If you’re in New York you’ll have to check out Max & Mina’s pink lemonade pop rocks flavor ice cream.

The base flavor is pink lemonade with a splash of popping candy through the ice cream. It will make your taste buds sing!

    1. Goat Cheese & Red Cherries

If you think this sounds a little peculiar then think of this frozen treat as cold cherry cheesecake! The ice cream melts into your mouth and leaves you craving more. You won’t be able to get enough of this frozen delight.

The ice cream is currently made by Jeni’s and you can get it in most places across the US.

    1. Gold Nugget

This is as extravagant as it sounds! Gold nugget is made in Alaska; you’ll have to go there to try this one.

The ice cream is actually vanilla custard which has dark chocolate chunks swirled into it and 24k gold flakes. It looks eccentric and tastes fantastic.

    1. Ghost Pepper Peppermint

Take some homemade peppermint ice cream and add a little of the world’s hottest chili. You will need to enjoy the spice flavor in order to really appreciate the taste of this unusual but surprisingly enticing flavor.

It’s the brainchild of Mallard Ice Cream and well worth seeking out!

    1. Vanilla With Sweet Sriracha Sauce

This is only for the brave it is probably one of the hottest ice creams you’ll ever taste. This is available from Mason’s Creamery in Cleveland, Ohio; and has become a firm favorite with the local and a wider audience.

It is worth noting that this is very hot. But, with a little sauce on top it is one ice cream flavor that isn’t just popular; it’s one you have to try!
