    Traveling With Amber Teething Necklaces

Published: May 19, 2018 · Modified: Jun 19, 2018 by Jennifer · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

We were about to make our second move to another country, this time with a family. My husband has been in the military since we graduated High School, which has allowed us to see many breathtaking views that we wouldn't have otherwise been able to see so young.

It had been easy until we added our children into the mix. All of a sudden what used to be light and carefree was now consumed by screaming, ear popping, snack demanding little people. The endless mounds of things we had to pack into our carry on left no room for the things we needed for ourselves. I was determined to make life on the go, and particularly overseas, easier than it currently was.

Over countless days of packing and research, I found some helpful reviews for essentials that could be used on the entire family. I liked the idea of a one size fits all type of solution and knew that it would save us space in the long run. A solution that I was familiar with but didn't realize could work for everyone was an amber teething necklace. We had used amber necklaces with our children when they started teething but stopped soon after their first birthday.

Some of my research took me to a medical study that showed its effects on people of all ages and complaints. Succinic acid was a component in amber that acted much like an anti-inflammatory in our bodies once absorbed. In recent years, people who have studied amber and it's medicinal effects have linked it to improving moods by restoring much needed antioxidants into the body, boosting vitamin absorption and natural immunity, therefore impacting your mental state in a natural way.

Amber could be used for muscle and joint pain, chronic headaches, toothaches, and anxiety. If you are suffering from pain related to inflammation, Baltic amber could be your answer. When worn on the body, your natural temperature heats the bead and allows for the succinic rich oils to be absorbed into your bloodstream. Once absorbed, it's as if you took a natural dose of Ibuprofen.

I ordered a necklace for every member of the family. I hoped that it would take away from the stress of bringing medicine on board a flight, would help with any anxiety surrounding it, and could help with mine and my husband's backs as we sat for twelve hours.

Luckily for us, our necklaces arrived just two weeks before we said goodbye to the United States and hello to South Korea. We put them on immediately, as to not lose them or forget them in the chaos that was our lives, and crossed our fingers. I wasn't expecting much from them right away, as no one was really suffering from any sort of physical complaint at the moment.

However, I noticed that in the days leading up to the flight I wasn't anywhere near as anxious or uptight as I thought I would be. I thought that it was because I had finished packing everything with days to spare and so far our trip was chugging along without a problem. The day that we left for the flight I knew without a shadow of a doubt that things wouldn't be going as smoothly as they were without our amber necklaces.

Our children were almost angels the entire ride. They kept entertained with the distractions I had packed and slept through a good chunk of the flight. I was expecting more screaming, complaining, and temper tantrum throwing than what I got.

The true test was our backs and I am happy to report that we made the entire flight without so much as a muscle twitch. I wouldn't go as far as saying we were comfortable, but we weren't hunched over and aching for days afterward. It was as if we were in our early twenties again.

If you're wondering what Baltic amber can do and if it's worth the money, buy one for yourself and see the refreshed feeling Baltic amber can add to your daily routine.
