How to make the The Perfect Deviled Eggs for Your Party

Ingredients needed to make the Perfect Deviled Eggs

    • One dozen eggs
    • ⅓ cup mayo
    • ⅛ teaspoon salt
    • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
    • cayenne pepper for garnish
    • Smoked paprika for garnish

Directions for making these perfect deviled eggs!

In a large pot, fill with enough water to completely cover all of the eggs - with a little extra. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

Boil for ten minutes, then turn off the heat and drain the pot.

I like to drain the pot with the eggs still in it, then fill with cold water and ice, allowing the water to run over the eggs until the water is overflowing out of the pot. If you are concerned about wasting water, simply drain the pot and put into the fridge for about ten minutes to cool the eggs.

I also prefer to peel my eggs under cold running water - it  helps remove all of the membrane and shell!

Cut the hard boiled eggs in half, removing yolks to a large bowl.

Add your mayonnaise, salt, black and cayenne pepper and mash with a fork until it is completely creamy. You might want to use a little more or a little less mayonnaise, depending on how you like the consistency of your stuffing.

Get a large Ziploc bag and fill with the yolk filling, then snip off a corner of the bag to pipe the stuffing into the eggs.

Sprinkle with your desired amount of smoked paprika and cayenne pepper, and wrap the serving tray with plastic wrap and place in the fridge until you are ready to serve!

Those do look prettier and easier to eat than my version of deviled eggs. Thanks for mentioning the Ziplock idea as a great way to make them like this. This recipe is very similar to the way I make them too.

These are pretty close to how I make them. The plastic baggie trick is the same though 🙂

They look good. And if I use some homemade mayo they would be Whole 30 compliant. Yum!

Nothing can beat a good deviled egg. I like your idea of adding a little spice to them!

You know I only eat these at Thanksgiving? I don't know why they are yummy.

I never really got into deviled eggs, but my mom and two sisters LOVE them. 🙂
