Cool Down With a Cranberry Slush Recipe

We love this Cranberry Slush all year long, but it's a great winter drink or Christmas drink recipe and doubles as a great summer slush!

    Cranberry Slush

Why we love this Cranberry Slush

Summer is here and it is HOT, my friends! Have some summer fun with cranberries and try them with all types of dishes.

Cranberries are fantastic in any form, from fresh to frozen, dried or as a juice - that unique tart flavor adds so much flavor to everything from soups to salads, to entries to baked goods and desserts!

With the summer heat rising, instead of running to the 7-Eleven and buying a slushy that's full of chemicals and have absolutely zero nutritional value to cool down, how about making a refreshing Cranberry Slush right at home?

Cranberries are so refreshing and they are wonderful for your health because they're a good source of antioxidants and fiber!

How to Make Cranberry Slush Recipe

Ingredients you will need to make this Cranberry Slush

    1 cup frozen cranberries
    2 cups frozen strawberries
2 cups cranberry juice (NOT cocktail)
1 teaspoon agave nectar OR you can use regular granulated sugar

    Cranberry Slush

Directions for how to make a Cranberry Slush

Slushes are pretty basic: throw it all in the blend and blend until completely smooth and creamy!

You can skip adding the nectar/sugar to this Cranberry Slush until after you have tasted it.

I don't use any sweetener in mine, but Angeline prefers it in hers because of the tartness.

    Cranberry Slush

You can also add blueberries or raspberries to this slush instead of the strawberries if you want to mix things up. Get creative! You can't go wrong with any type of berries!

Cranberries are America's Original Superfruit! They are a good source of antioxidants, naturally fat and cholesterol free, are low in sodium and a good source of dietary fiber.

Not to mention the bling factor; there's no simpler way to bling up a summertime meal than by enhancing the colors with bright red Cranberries!

And of course, they taste great! What's not to love?
