3 Ways to Get Your Lifetime Fix

Published: May 3, 2017 · Modified: May 17, 2020 by Jennifer · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

Was it time to ditch the cable or satellite? Did it seem like a good idea at the time until you realized, just a bit too late, that you aren’t able to watch Lifetime? No worries! You can still watch your favorite shows and some of the old movies to fulfill those cravings for romantic comedies, original content and dramas. The best part is, you get to watch these when you want, not when someone else schedules them to air. Here are 3 ways to get your Lifetime “fix” when you need it and on your own schedule.

    Netflix to the Rescue

When it doubt, always check Netflix! Inspiring Lifetime Movies are on Netflix now and waiting for you to come and view them when you need to.  With movies like William & Kate, Awake to Danger, and The Craigslist Killer, you are bound to get your Lifetime “fix”. However, since Netflix changes their lineup quite often, look for other movies that are similar to Lifetime dramas and romantic comedies. Movies like Shakespeare In Love, I Give It A Year, Love Actually, and Save The Date are all waiting to give you a great story line, a little steamy passion, and a little romance to your day.

    Hulu Has You Covered

If you have a Hulu account, you are saved! There is a smorgasbord of television shows and movies to choose from. Shows like Dance Moms, Project Runway, and Army Wives are awaiting you to visit and binge-watch. Not only do you get to watch these shows, you can watch them all the way back to their first season. Additionally, Hulu has a couple older shows, like The Client List and Drop Dead Diva, that you can catch up with or get to know if you hadn’t watched them previously. The only downside to watching on Hulu is that shows are slower to release online after their air date on the network. The movie listings at Hulu are on the meager side. At the time of this writing, there were only 3 Lifetime movies available; Forbidden Secrets, Living With the Enemy, and A Snow Globe Christmas.

    Amazon Provides

If you have a slight obsession, or addiction, to Lifetime movies than you should check out the Lifetime Movie Club over at Amazon. They have over 50 channels and over 25 options to rent or buy Lifetime movies. Buying those movies is a fantastic option to consider so that your fix is always available whenever you need it! There are wonderful and entertaining options, such as; Walking the Halls, The Last Trimester, Petals On The Wind, and Reviving Ophelia. The unfortunate downside is, there are no options to view Lifetime television shows at Amazon currently.

When you have had a rough day at work, it is great to be able to come home and get lost in a romantic comedy. When you are suffering from a broken heart, a little crime thriller helps soothe the soul. When you want to invite the girls over and enjoy some wine, good food, and girl time, a little reality drama goes a long way to entertain your crew. And just because you needed to make changes to your access to Lifetime doesn’t mean you have to give it up forever. In a lot of ways, it will be much better to watch at your convenience!
