Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 21.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup 2 cans 10.75 oz each, condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces noodles cooked
  • 1 cup peas frozen

Instructions

  • Add carrots, celery, and onion to a slow cooker and mix well. Add bay leaf and chicken on top of vegetables.
  • In a separate and small bowl, combine soup, water, thyme, salt and pepper and mix well. Spoon over chicken and cover.
  • Heat on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. When cooking cycle is complete, shred chicken with two forks. Stir peas and noodles into mixture and serve.
