Slow Cooker Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients

  • 12 Gala apples peeled and cut into slices
  • cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 3 teaspoons  cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup butter cubed

Instructions

  • Grease a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Peel and slice apples and place into slow cooker. I use this gadget and it's quick and easy!
  • In a small bowl, combine sugars, corn starch, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix well. Pour over apples and stir.
  • Top with cubes of butter. Cook covered on low for 3-4 hours or until apples are tender, stirring once halfway through.
