- 12 Gala apples peeled and cut into slices
- ⅓ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup butter cubed
Grease a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Peel and slice apples and place into slow cooker. I use this gadget and it's quick and easy!
In a small bowl, combine sugars, corn starch, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix well. Pour over apples and stir.
Top with cubes of butter. Cook covered on low for 3-4 hours or until apples are tender, stirring once halfway through.
