Red White and Blue Crack Chocolate Cookie Bars

These Crack Chocolate Cookie Bars are a rich and delicious combo of sweet snacks and salty snacks, perfect for Memorial Day and 4th of July summer desserts! Make these easy snacks for all of your summer parties!

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a square, 8x8 baking pan with foil. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a small mixing bowl, add flour, cocoa powder and salt and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, melted butter, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Add egg and mix. Fold in flour mixture just until combined. Add candies, pretzels and chocolate chips and mix until evenly combined.
  • Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. I did add some extra M&Ms, white chocolate chips and broken pretzel pieces to the top of the batter just before putting into the oven.
  • Bake for 18-23 minutes until edges are crisp and center is set. Let cool completely before cutting into 16 triangles or squares.
