Valentine's Day Red Velvet Bundt Cake Recipe


  • Cake Ingredients
  • 1 box 15.25 oz, red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • Icing Ingredients
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • valentine sprinkles


  1. Preheat oven to 325 and grease a bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add cake mix, sour cream, oil and eggs and mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool cake for 30 minutes in the pan, then invert onto a serving platter and cool completely before serving.
  3. Icing Directions:
  4. Add cream cheese and butter in a bowl and beat well to combine. Add powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon milk and beat well. Add additional milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, to adjust the consistency of the icing to spread better.
  5. Spread icing onto cake and sprinkle with valentine sprinkles.
