Saint Patrick's Day Snack Mix Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups popped popcorn
  • 3 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup blanched and salted peanuts
  • 1-1/2 cups white chocolate chipsGreen Candies
  • --Used Betty Crocker Candy Shop Chocolate Flavored Candies 1 package 2.2 oz
  • Green and White Sprinkles--Used Wilton Brand

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts. Stir to mix well.
  3. In a small glass bowl, add white chocolate chips. Microwave on high power for 60 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir well. Return to microwave and microwave for 20 seconds. Stir until melted. If additional heating of white chocolate is necessary to completely melt, return to the microwave in 20 second increments stirring after each increment.
  4. Pour melted chocolate over snack mix in bowl and stir well to combine. Add candies and stir.
  5. Pour snack mix onto prepared pan and spread out. Sprinkle with green and white sprinkles. Let set for about 30 minutes until chocolate is hard. Break apart and enjoy!
