Ingredients

  • 14 oz seasoned sirloin philly steak 14 oz, seasoned sirloin philly steak
  • 1 green bell pepper seeds removed and chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese cube
  • 4 ounces mushrooms sliced, and drained if using from a can
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • ¼ cup parsley chopped fresh for serving
  • 6 cups mashed potatoes kept warm for serving

Instructions

  • First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Add sirloin to an ovenproof skillet with pepper and onion and cook over medium heat, breaking apart beef and stirring frequently until onions are tender and beef is no longer pink.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
  • Add cream cheese and continue to cook and mix over medium low until cheese is completely melted and mixed in.
  • Next, stir in your sliced mushrooms.
  • Place cheese slices on top and bake for 15 minutes or until bubbly around the edges and cheese is melted.
  • Top your easy casserole dinner with chopped fresh parsley and serve it on a bed of mashed potatoes!
