Cook tater tots according to package directions. Let stand for about 10 minutes so they are cool enough to handle.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Thread 3 cooked tator tots onto a skewer and place onto prepared baking sheets. Repeat until all tots are on skewers and on the baking sheets. Season with seasoning salt.
Sprinkle a small amount of cheese onto each skewer and top with bacon.
Bake for 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melted.
If desired, place sour cream into a resealable sandwich bag and seal shut. Snip the tip of the bag and squeeze sour cream onto each skewer. Top with chopped chives and serve immediately.
