Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese , softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 2.5 oz bacon pieces 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled can also be used
  • .4 oz ranch seasoning
  • 7 baby carrots for chicks legs
  • 1 black olive for chick’s eyes
  • 1 Round crackers cut in half, for chick’s wings

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning until well combined.
  • Stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese and the bacon until evenly distributed.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball.
  • Roll the cheese ball in the remaining cup of cheddar cheese, pressing gently to help it adhere.
  • Place the cheese ball on a serving plate or cutting board for decorating.
  • Press two olive slices onto the front to form the chick’s eyes.
  • Cut a baby carrot in half and position it as the beak.
  • Insert three baby carrots on each side at the bottom to create feet.
  • Cut a cracker in half and insert each piece on the sides for wings.
  • Serve immediately or chill until ready. Enjoy with crackers, veggies, or your favorite dippers!
