- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 16 oz tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
- 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar shredded (separate into two ¾ cups)
- ½ cup mexican cheese blend shredded - you can also use taco blend
- 15 oz diced tomatoes with green chiles
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Saute ground beef until browned and set aside.
Cook your macaroni noodles according to the package directions. When fully cooked, drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes with the chili seasoning, ensuring that it is completely mixed throughout the sauce.
Combine the ground beef, macaroni noodles and sauce, and mix in the pepper jack cheese and ¾ cups of the sharp cheddar.
Pour into a 9x13 baking dish and top with the remaining ¾ cup sharp cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and beginning to turn golden brown. Easy enough, right?
