Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar shredded (separate into two ¾ cups)
  • ½ cup mexican cheese blend shredded - you can also use taco blend
  • 15 oz diced tomatoes with green chiles

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Saute ground beef until browned and set aside.
  • Cook your macaroni noodles according to the package directions. When fully cooked, drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes with the chili seasoning, ensuring that it is completely mixed throughout the sauce.
  • Combine the ground beef, macaroni noodles and sauce, and mix in the pepper jack cheese and ¾ cups of the sharp cheddar.
  • Pour into a 9x13 baking dish and top with the remaining ¾ cup sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and beginning to turn golden brown. Easy enough, right?
