Ingredients

  • 13.25 oz spice cake mix
  • 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Cake Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 baking pan. Set aside.
  • Mix together cake mix, pumpkin puree and eggs and spread into prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely before frosting.
  • Cream Cheese Frosting Directions:
  • Add cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar together in a mixing bowl. Beat well until evenly combined. Slowly add half and half or milk to obtain a smooth, frosting consistency. Spread on top of cake and top with chopped pecans.
