Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 can (12 oz) lager beer
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar
  • Optional: green onions
  • Soft pretzels

Instructions

  • Whisk cornstarch and evaporated milk in a deep saucepan.
  • Add beer and bring to a boil until foamy; cook 1 minute.
  • Reduce heat; whisk in mustard, Worcestershire, paprika, and salt.
  • Add cheese over low heat and stir until melted.
  • Serve warm with pretzels.
