Mix together sugars, flour and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender, cut the butter into the dry mixture until small pieces, about pea sized, form. Set aside.
Cake Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease an 8x8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt and mix well. Set aside
In a separate bowl, combine apple sauce, brown sugar, sour cream, egg, vanilla and butter and mix well. Add dry ingredients to the wet and mix just until combined. Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle topping on top of the batter, spreading evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand to cool until warm. Cut into 9 squares and serve warm.
