Chicken Asian Slaw Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped cabbage {mixture of napa and green is best)
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cooked chicken
  • ½ cup slivered almonds toasted
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • 1 package Oriental flavored ramen noodles
  • cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • 2 green onions chopped

Instructions

  • Set aside dressing package from Ramen noodles. Crush Ramen noodles into small pieces.
  • In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, chicken, almonds and ramen noodles.
  • In a small bowl, combine the dressing package from the Ramen noodles, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil. Stir well with a whisk.
  • Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Top with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

**If making ahead of time, store dressing separately from the dry ingredients until about 30 minutes before you are ready to eat.**
