Halloween No Bake Cookies

Halloween No Bake Cookies

Ingredients

  • Vanilla Wafer Cookies
  • 12 oz white almond bark
  • orange vibrant green and turquoise candy melts
  • chocolate chips
  • red gel food coloring

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet or cutting board with wax paper and set aside.
  • Add half of the almond bark to a microwave safe bowl and melt according to package directions. Dip the cookies into the almond bark. Start top side down, and flip them over with a fork. Lift them out of the bowl and gently tap or scrape the bottom on the side of the bowl. Set onto the prepared wax paper.
  • Working in batches, repeat until all chocolate is melted and cookies are covered. Set aside to harden. Once the almond is hardened, divide the cookies in thirds.
  • Add a small handful of colored candy melts to a sealable sandwich bag but do not seal. Place in the microwave and microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power, three times, kneading after each time in the microwave. Seal the bag and snip the tip. Pipe a round dollop of color onto one third of the covered cookies and gently place a chocolate chip in the center. Repeat with remaining two colors. Let set to harden.
  • Using a toothpick, dip into the color gel and squiggle onto the white of the cookie. Repeat until all cookies are covered.
  • Makes 40 cookies.
