Ingredients

  • 1 tube 8oz, refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 3 tablespoons butter softened and divided
  • 5 tablespoons pure maple syrup divided
  • 10 slices bacon cooked and diced
  • cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll crescent roll onto baking sheet and gently press seams together. Flatten to a 12"x8" rectangle.
  • Mix together the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of the butter with 2 tablespoons of the maple syrup with a fork until smooth. Spread on crescent rolls. Sprinkle with bacon. Starting on the long edge, roll up the crescent rolls and seal the edges. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the refrigerator and remove plastic wrap. Discard. Use a serrated knife to cut into 12 rounds, about 1" thick. Transfer rounds to prepared baking sheet and bake for 9-12 minutes or until browned. Remove from oven and cool until warm.
  • Mix together remaining 1 tablespoon butter and 3 tablespoons maple syrup. Drizzle over rolls and serve.
  • This Maple Bacon Breakfast Rolls Recipe makes 12 rolls, serving about 6-8, depending on appetite.
