Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup corn starch
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups butter softened
  • sprinkles for decoration
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1-2 drops of pink food coloring

Instructions

  • Add all of your ingredients for this Valentine’s Day Frosted Meltaway Cookies Recipe in a large mixing bowl and mix until combined. Don't worry, your dough will be a little sticky! Transfer your dough onto a lightly floured surface and work gently with hands.
  • Form into a large ball and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Form dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Gently flatten with a fork and bake for 15 minutes or until bottom edges are lightly brown.
  • Frosting Directions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. If frosting is too thin, add more powdered sugar. If it is too thick, add more milk.
  • Once the cookies are cooled, add frosting and sprinkles!
