Valentine's Day Strawberry Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • Brownie Ingredients:
  • 1 box 15.25 oz, strawberry cake mix
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • optional to add flavor: ¼ teaspoon strawberry flavoring
  • Icing Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1-½ teaspoons milk
  • valentine sprinkles

Instructions

  • Brownie Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 and line a square, 8x8 baking pan with foil. Spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Add cake mix, oil, eggs and flavor (if using) to a mixing bowl and mix well. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes or just until the edges begin to brown. Remove from oven and cool completely in pan. Remove from pan and peel away foil. Cut into 9 squares.
  • Icing Directions:
  • Add powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl and mix well. Place into a resealable sandwich bag and snip the tip. Drizzle onto brownies and sprinkle with valentine sprinkles. Let set for icing to harden a bit.
