First, preheat your oven to 375°.
Next, cook the noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes and drain. In a small bowl combine the ricotta, 1 cup provolone cheese, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper and set aside.
Then, in a large nonstick skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until it has browned, stirring to crumble. Stir in the tomato sauce and remove it from the heat.
Combine the noodles and meat mixture in a large bowl (or use the pasta pot!). Place 3 cups of the noodle mixture in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Spread the ricotta mixture over the top of those noodles. Finally, top with the remaining noodle mixture and sprinkle with the ½ cup remaining provolone cheese.
Bake it at 375° for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
