First, drain the oil from the sun dried tomatoes into a skillet. Set the jar of tomatoes aside.
Next, add the chopped onions to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes or until onions begin to soften.
Then, stir in the minced garlic, tomatoes and the black pepper. Heat for 2 additional minutes.
Add the frozen package of green beans and cook, covered for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Finally, uncover and cook an additional 2-3 minutes if a lot of liquid still remains.
