Southwest Breakfast Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust refrigerator section
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup red peppers diced
  • 1/2 cup green peppers diced
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 and spread a pie crust into a pie plate. Press into the bottom and up the sides. Add ham, peppers and cheese to the crust.
  2. In a separate bowl, add eggs and milk and whisk well. Add spices and mix well. pour over crust.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes at 375.
  4. Open oven and add foil to cover the crust only. Reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake for 25-30 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Let stand for five minutes before cutting into 8 slices.
