Chocolate Chip Graham Cracker Cookie Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can 8oz of condensed sweetened milk
  • 1 ½ cups of milk chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips I prefer dark chocolate!
  • Optional: sprinkles for the top of the cookie bars

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper; use two large pieces, and lay one day with the edges hanging over the edge of the baking dish, then repeat with the other piece of parchment paper in the opposite direction so that they are overlapping. You will use these as handles to lift out the cookie bars once they are cooked!
  • In a large bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and condensed milk.
  • Add in your chocolate chips, and any additional add-ins that suit your fancy! A few ideas are chopped nuts, sprinkles, etc.
  • Pour into a 8x8 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until brown around the edges.
  • Allow to cool for about 20 minutes, or place into the refrigerator so that they can set and harden.
  • Using the edges of the parchment paper hanging over the baking dish, gently lift the cookie bars out of the baking dish and cut into squares or rectangles and serve!
