Double Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe with Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter 2 sticks softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-3.9 oz box JELLO chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 47 Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Wafers

Instructions

  1. Using an electric mixer, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla and mix.
  2. Add pudding mix and stir until smooth.
  3. Gradually add baking soda and flour until fully mixed.
  4. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  6. Using a tablespoon of dough, roll it into a ball and place on a baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart. Place a milk chocolate wafer on top of each dough ball, pressing down gently.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
