Peppermint and Chocolate Chip Santa Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix any brand
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 2 tbs. flour
  • 1/2 C. oil
  • 1/2 C. peppermint baking bits you could also substitute crushed peppermints +extra to press on top of the cookies prior to baking
  • 1/2 C. chocolate chips + extra to press on top of the cookies prior to baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the cake mix, egg whites, flour and oil, mixing well. Add in the peppermint baking bits and chocolate and mix into the cookie dough.
  3. Roll the cookie dough into 1-2" size balls and place 2-3" a part on your baking sheets.
  4. Gently press down on the cookie dough balls and place a few extra peppermint bits and chocolate chips on top of each cookie.
  5. Place in the oven and bake 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake.
  6. *Makes approximately 2 dozen cookies
